LOS ANGELES: Pakistani activist and noble laureate Malala Yousafzai has surprised the world as she is all set to make an appearance as a special guest along with famous celebrities at the reunion special of the much-awaited series ‘Friends’.
Fans around the world got shocked as the list of special guests include a random collection of names as many nominations doesn’t even exist when the show originally aired back in the day.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Oxford graduate has made no comment regarding the special appearance in reunion.
Let it be known that youngest noble laureate Malala doesn’t have any other known ties to the sitcom. As for now, it’s also uncertain that either Yousafzai will be appearing physically or will join via video link.

Earlier, while speaking with the PEOPLE EVERYDAY podcast in March, the human rights advocate expressed her need to dive into comedy series after a day tirelessly advocating for girls’ education. ‘Just like everybody else, I also need a break to just focus on a show like Big Bang Theory, Girlfriends, or Ted Lasso. These are things that just keep you sort of happy for a second. It helps you just to escape from all of the problems that are there outside’, she added.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited Friends: The Reunion is all set to hit HBO screen on May 27 and it has an interesting celebrity line-up. Malala Yousafzai, BTS, David Beckham, Justin Bieber, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Larry Hankin, Kit Harrington, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, and Reese Witherspoon are among the guests.
