According to Longbow Research, people searching for Iphones over the internet in China has declined by 48%. This is a massive nudge as China was the fastest growing Iphone market in the world.

Research analyst, Shawn Harrison, said in a report: “Apple has repeatedly lowered the selling price of the iPhone, but it has not prevented the iPhone’s search trend in China from further weakening. The Baidu, search engine in China, says that iPhone search trend directly reflects the iPhone’s demand in China.

The report stated that these search data has a 74% correlation with the annual sales of Apple iPhone in the Chinese market, and 82% of the iPhone’s shipments in China. Longbow Research further said that in February of this year, Apple’s iPhone sales in China fell by 5% year-on-year, down by more than 30% from January, and 37 of the 42 Apple suppliers reported poor iPhone sales.

 

More than one-fifth of Iphone buyers are between the ages of 45 to 54 years while 77 percent of all iPhone-SE pre-orders are male. Meanwhile, 69 percent of all iPhone owners in general are male. CNN demographics of Apple Inc.: A higher percentage of customers who buy the iPhone, Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, and Apple TV are between the ages of 25 and 34 years old. 65 years and older, and people between 35 and 44, are the biggest of iPad customers.
