At first they cashed in. They loved the hype they got, posting unconfirmed couple pictures, fueling speculations. They liked it when couple pictures were picked off of their instagram page without their permission by some magazine or online platform. They liked the attention.
After their breakup all of a sudden it became a private matter. Now, even when they have deleted pictures with old partners, it would be pretty hard not running into their past every now and then. Welcome to the digital age.
Here are Pakistani celebrity couple who after separation have completely deleted pictures of their exes from instagram.
Shahroz Sabzwari & Syra Yousuf
Perhaps the worst and the most talked about split up was between Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousuf. When their seven years of marriage broke, once a popular couple online was taken to the cleaners. Fans were not just sad but angry and blamed Shahroz for the divorce. Fans thought that Shahroz had left Syra for another model-cum-actress. Numerous videos were released to calm down fans but of no use. The couple ended up in a divorce. Both of them removed all of their pictures with each other right away. Their divorce took a bad turn when Shahroz married the alleged reason for their divorce Sadaf Kanwal. A second round of online bashing was seen after the marriage. It seemed like a campaign in favor of Syra Yousuf where she was shown as the innocent soul while the other two were villains to the story.
Hania Amir & Asim Azhar
This couple is the smartest of all, they think they know how to play the internet. First, they discreetly deleted pics and just recently Hania Amir in a live interview with a friend revealed that Asim Azhar is a good friend and nothing more. Fans had been observing the two together for the last two years at almost all events, award shows, celebrity weddings. They have been holding hands posing together and even giving surprises to each other on birthdays.
After the interview both of them posted pictures of each other but this time it was different. They did not post couple pictures, they posted group pictures. Them around friends to tapper down the internet crowd. But of little good. Her statement in the interview sparked fire in fans having sympathy towards Asim Azhar calling him being friend-zoned. So much so that a Facebook event was made where people were supposed to go to Hania Amir’s residence to protest in favor of Asim Azhar.
Agha Ali & Sarah Khan
The same was done by Agha Ali and Sarah Khan when they broke up, the talk of the town couple was seen almost in every morning show now and then talking about each other and sharing they will be marrying soon. Their social media and public appearances were only about each other. But everything deleted now.
Agha Ali later married Hina Altaf a few months back while Sarah Khan just recently tied her knot with singer Falak Shabbir.
Sajal Ali & Feroze Khan
One of the most loved couples of the Pakistani industry also suffered when the news of their break up broke. Sajal and Feroze were talk of the town for quite a while attending all events premiers and award shows together. They had been posting pictures together. Their split was rough, unfollowing from each other’s accounts even family members unfollowing each other. Sajal Ali married Ahad Raza Mir just before the lockdown after dating him for a while.
Mohib Mirza & Amina Shiekh
The situation of cashing your relationship and later removing pictures from social media is not just with new bees, even Mohib Mirza and Amina Shiekh’s split up was more or less the same their social media accounts do not have their pictures anymore. It would be safe to say that this is perhaps the oldest in this club. As compared to others they were not as insta freaks like others, so they had very lesser uploaded memories to undo.
