KARACHI – Two of the suspected robbers almost got crushed after a furious minivan driver rammed his vehicle twice into them as they were apparently trying to escape after looting a civilian at gunpoint.
Not all heroes wear capes, this is what Karachiites said after watching a viral video making rounds on social media. The viral clip is of the CCTV footage, in which a minivan driver takes law into his own hands when he spotted two of the robbers who tried to escape from the spot after a mugging bid.
As soon as he passed through the two-wheeler of the suspected robbers, the vigilant driver hit the muggers with full throttle. Startlingly, the brave driver when spotted on their feet after a massive hit. He returned the vehicle and crushed them again, this time taking the rider under his bumper.

The clip which is of 2-minute could not record what happened thereafter however the injured accomplice can be seen crossing the road in haste.
Let it be known that all records of the same period last year stood broken; as more than 30 people lost their lives while resisting armed robberies and mugging attempts in Sindh capital.
The increase in street crime and robberies depicts the incompetence and failure of the local government, police, and law enforcement agencies.
Amid the anxiety and fear among the citizens, the government should take the situation seriously and provide protection to the people to avoid any such incidents.
