NEW YORK: The official handle of Israel Monday grilled World’s highest-paid model, Bella Hadid for voicing her support to oppressed Palestinians who are being attacked by Israeli armed forces since last Monday.
Bella, who is half Palestinian and half Dutch, joined the protestors in New York City against the ethnic cleansings in Palestine. The 24-year-old, donning a traditional dress a Keffiyeh, and a face mask, joined the protestors at Bay Ridge in America’s largest city.
‘The way my heart feels. To be around this many beautiful, smart, respectful, loving, kind, and generous Palestinians all in one place… it feels whole! We are a rare breed!’, she captioned the recent post on her official handle.

Soon after the post of Palestinian-heritage model, she was falsely accused of calling for Jewish people to be thrown into the sea by the official account of Israel.

Many activists and journalists also lambasted the Israeli accusation, saying it is ‘deliberately promoting a vile and outrageous lie’. ‘She said nothing of the kind. Another journalist, Dave Zirin, who himself is a Jew replied to the tweet wrote ‘telling big lies to demonise others has a horrific tradition in our Jewish history.’ He called their strategies a “shanda” and a “sin”.

This is not the first time for Bella to vigorously condemning Israel’s violence as earlier both Hadid sisters voiced support for oppressed Palestinians.
Gigi Hadid, the elder sister of Bella, in an Instagram note slammed the Israeli aggression. She shared a note stated, ‘One cannot advocate for racial inequality, LGBTQ and women’s rights, condemn corrupt and abusive regimes and other injustices, yet choose to ignore the Palestinian oppression. It does not add up. You cannot pick and choose whose human rights matter more’.
The note has garnered huge support and got almost 3 Million hearts on photo and video sharing platform Instagram.
Let it be known that, at least 43 more Palestinians, including eight children, have been killed in the recent attacks from Israeli forces. With the latest fatalities, the death toll in the Gaza strip has soared to nearly 200, including 58 children and 34 women.
