LASBELA: First Chinese company Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery Limited has been granted a permit to manufacture liquor in Pakistan.
The whole process from manufacturing to packaging will be carried out at the plant in Balochistan. It will become the first Chinese company to manufacture liquor in Pakistan.
The Hui Coastal Brewery, which is famous for its alcohol worldwide, was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on April 30, 2020.
The Excise, Taxation, and Anti-Narcotics Department of southwestern province issued the license to the company to launch a joint venture at the Lasbela Industrial Estate Development Authority.
The multinational manufacturer of alcoholic beverages plans to produce two famous liquor brands for export purposes.
